A Lion of a Man
A Lion of a Man, the first part of this book, tells of Tommy James (1898-1971) and his 50-year fight in support of the poor and unemployed in Rotherham. The second part is an edited version of Pounded Earth, a personal account of his experiences as a volunteer in the International Brigades in the Spanish Civil War.
